Terms & Conditions

Course Description

  • Due to the fluid nature of training courses and our commitment to continuous improvement, Hemsley Fraser Group Ltd reserve the right to change the course content and/or trainer, at any time, in line with market demands.

Course Dates and Venues

  • Hemsley Fraser Group Ltd reserve the right to alter or cancel published dates and change venues without liability.
  • In the event of a cancellation where an alternative cannot be provided, monies received in respect of that course will be refunded in full.

Joining Instructions

  • On receipt of written confirmation we will issue complete joining instructions detailing your participation on the training event. This includes a learning objectives questionnaire, a location map, venue details and course timings.

Learning Objectives

  • Learning objectives questionnaires have been designed to establish individual training needs. These questionnaires represent an essential part of our course refinement process and enable trainers to understand the individual needs of the delegates.

Lifetime Learner

  • Lifetime learner/special offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.
  • The Lifetime Learner offer applies to the course attendee only. Any subsequent substitution may invalidate the discount offered.
  • Standard transfer and cancellation terms and conditions apply.
  • The Lifetime Learner offer is only applicable if the bookings are received directly through Hemsley Fraser.
  • If an online discount is available at the time of booking this will only apply to courses that can be booked online.

Company Accounts Course Offer

  • This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
  • The same delegate must attend all 3 specified courses.
  • Bookings for all 3 courses must be made at the same time.
  • This offer is only available to telephone bookings and is not available for online bookings.
  • This offer is for a limited period only.

PRINCE2™

  • PRINCE2™ offer - save 25% off the standard price on your first booking on our PRINCE2 Foundation and Combined Foundation and Practitioner courses and receive additional places at 35% discount off the standard price. This offer is only available for a limited period.
  • Due to pre-course preparation, substitutions on all PRINCE2 courses cannot be made within 10 days of the course date.
  • Hemsley Fraser reserve the right to amend or withdraw the re sit offer at any time.

D&B Subscribers

  • D&B subscribers will receive a 20% discount on the prices shown for the courses where the D&B logo is indicated. Call 0845 0712810 for more details.
  • This discount only applies to D&B subscribers who quote their subscriber number at the time of booking.
  • This discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or promotional offer.
  • Number must be quoted at the time of booking.

Wimbledon 2008 Special Offer and Prize Draw

  • The offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
  • The offer can only be claimed by quoting the appropriate booking phrase.
  • The offer applies to a single transaction only and can only be used once.
  • The offer applies only to bookings made on or before August 1st 2008.
  • The offer only applies to Hemsley Fraser run courses and does not apply to third party partner courses or events.
  • All entries to the prize draw must be returned by 18th July. The 2 winners will be notified by 25th July by telephone. Prizes will be sent out within 28 working days.
  • We reserve the right to withdraw or amend this offer at anytime.

Distance Learning Programmes

Time Scales for Completion

  • Delegates have two years to complete the course from the date the course materials are issued.

Cancellations

  • In the event of a cancellation, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.

Substitutions

  • Substitutions can be made free of charge if no chapters have been completed by the original delegate and course materials not required to be re-sent.
  • If no chapters have been completed, but the substitution request is made more than two years since the course start date a £20 + VAT fee will apply.
  • If 1-7 chapters have been returned at the time of the substitution a £50 + VAT fee will apply.
  • If 8-14 chapters have been returned at the time of the substitution a £100 + VAT fee will apply.

Extensions

  • Extensions can be given in 6 month blocks, at a charge of £50 + VAT per block.

Re-Issue of Course Materials

  • New sets of course materials can be issued at a charge of £20 + VAT.

Provisional Bookings

  • To make a provisional reservation on a course, please either complete the online booking form, or contact one of our advisors on 0845 071 2801.
  • To secure a telephone reservation, written confirmation should be received within 5 days of the provisional booking being made.

Confirming a Booking

  • Your reservation will be confirmed by returning the booking form.
  • Confirmation can be sent by email or completed online.

Fees

  • All fees in our brochures are current at the time of going to print. However, we reserve the right to change them.

Client Reward Discount Scheme

  • The Client Reward discount applies to any delegates in the organisation attending any open course.
  • To receive the discount, bookings must be made by the same named booker.
  • The discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
  • If 12 months elapse between bookings, the organisation loses its current level of discount and reverts back to zero discount.

Delegate Substitution

  • If you would like to make a substitution, please call us on 0845 071 2823 and we will be happy to help you.
  • Substitutions can be made at any time without incurring a penalty.

Payment

  • Payment can be made by cheque, credit/debit card or BACS. Our payment terms are 14 days from date of invoice.
  • In any event, Hemsley Fraser reserve the right to refuse admission if payment has not been received prior to attending your course.
  • In the event of late payment we reserve our statutory right to interest at the rate of 8% above base under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Cancellations

The following charges apply if you cancel:

  • 29+ days before a course = 20% of the course fee.
  • 15-28 days before a course = 50% of the course fee.
  • 1-14 days before a course = 100% of the course fee.

In the event of a booking cancellation we reserve the right to reclaim any discounts given under the ‘Client Reward’ scheme.

Transfers

  • Transfers made 15-28 days prior to a course will be charged at 20% of the course fee.
  • Transfers made 1-14 days prior to a course will be charged at 50% of the course fee.
  • The transfer option only applies to delegates who are transferring to a different date for the same course.
  • Delegates must specify their choice of transfer date at the time of transfer.
  • The option to transfer can only be used once, after which non-attendance will be treated as a cancellation and all outstanding invoices will be due.
  • If a delegate uses the transfer option, the original course invoice and the transfer invoice remain due, even if the transfer reservation is subsequently cancelled.

Diploma in Business Administration – additional terms and conditions

  • Transfers between module dates made 15-28 days prior to a course will be charged at 5% of the total Diploma programme fee.
  • Transfers between module dates made 1-14 days prior to a course will be charged at 10% of the total Diploma programme fee.
  • Refunds will not be given once the programme has commenced.

Refund/Replacement Course

  • We guarantee to offer a full refund or replacement course if the attended course did not reflect the current published description. If the claim is requesting a replacement course the replacement course must occur within 90 days of the original course date. All claims must be made in writing within 10 working days of the attended course date to customer.experience@hemsleyfraser.co.uk.
